The name comes from Matthew 4:19:
“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Fishing has always been more than just the catch.
It’s about time on the water, the people beside you, and the moments that stay with you long after the line is reeled in.
In 2019, my nephew Brayden was diagnosed with a rare blood disease and flown to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he fought for his life.
I was there. I saw what families go through—the fear, the uncertainty, and the strength it takes to keep going. The doctors never stopped fighting for him.
And through it all, my family was never asked for anything financially.
On October 5, 2019, Brayden passed away.
M419 exists to carry that forward.
